What's the business model between Imaxel and their clients?

Imaxel provides complete solutions customized for their customers. That includes the order entry platforms (iDesk and/or iWeb and/or iCounter), plus a production and management backoffice, as long as a template editor tool.
Imaxel clients are free to add, modify or delete their products catalog anytime they want

What's the main difference between iDesk and iWeb?

Both solutions are intended for online ordering photo products. iDesk means dowloading a software to work with pictures which are already in a local PC. iWeb means uploading pictures to a Website to make an oline order.
iDesk is the finest and faster solution for making a Photo Album, since you must handle lots of picture to create it.
In the other hand, ordering a T-Shirt becomes very easy with iWeb, since you'll only have to upload one or two picture to edit it.

Can I customize myself iDesk for different clients / vendors?

An special tool called Imaxel Wizard is available for those customers looking for B2B business. With Imaxel Wizard LAbs/Printers can customize as many solutions as they need with a different look and feel for every vendor. Also, activation codes can be configured for every vendor so that independent sales logs can be monitored for every selling point.

How many languages are supported?

All the Imaxel user interface programs are multilanguage. iDesk is available in 18 languages and iCounter for Kiosks in 23. Production workflow Order Lab Manager is available in English, French and Spanish.  

Why shouldn't clients host the Remote Manager Backoffice?

Setting up and mainteining Remote Manager needs advanced skills in IT to manage it. It's not mandatory to host and maintain it by Imaxel engineers, but it's higly recommended from our experience.

What kind of payment gateways are accepted for iDesk and iWeb?

Up to now, Imaxel has developed more than 10 different payment gateways in different countries, including Paypal. To make sure the payment gateway you want to use is already developed, you must contact and confirm it with Imaxel.

Can a template be used for iDesk, iWeb and iCounter at the same time?

Yes, templates for products are common for all three order entry solutions: Kiosks, Web and Desktop. You'll only have to create and upload it once to use it in different interfaces with different prices and features.

Can templates be designed in third party applications and after being imported by Imaxel Tempalte Editor?

Yes. You can design your own templates using your desired Design Software. After, you'll be able to import it from Imaxel Editing Tool application.

Are images encrypted and resized before being sent in all the 3 client's applications?

Yes. Images are resized according to the optimum and minimum dpi's settled for each individual product your soluiton is offering. Before sending out the orders, they will be resized according to the parameters set.

Is iCounter (Kiosk Software) ready to be customized by the client/shop?

Yes. Imaxel Kiosk iCounter software can be locally customized by customers, including their colors and background colors for the screens.
  

May I install iCounter in my existing kiosks?

iCounter can be installed in any exiting PC or kiosk, provided it meets the minimum hardware requirements specified by Imaxel: Pentium IV, 1 GB RAM, Full Windows O.S
