How to create coupons and promotions in your Printspot shop

You can create discount coupons to run campaigns and product promotions in your Printspot shop. The use of these coupons can be a good strategy to improve the sales of your shop, getting new customers through marketing campaigns or making them buy from you again.

Printspot coupons are a digital adaptation of supermarket paper coupons. The digital coupon is a text that you can enter on the shopping cart or checkout pages (your choice) to apply a predefined discount that you have configured on the purchase made by the customer.

To create and manage your coupons you must go to the Promotions section in the administration panel of your Printspot shop:

This section has three areas, which are indicated by arrows in the left-hand side menu:

  • Promotion List
  • New promotion
  • Coupon visibility

Once created, the promotion code can be applied by customers during the checkout process in the online shop.
Customers enter the promotion code in a specific field and, if valid, the discount is automatically applied to their shopping cart.
In this section we can indicate where we want this field to be displayed:

In the shopping cart, on the checkout page, or both.
